Bluetooth Dongle

The Bluetooth dongle provided by Scanmarker connects to the USB port of computers with Windows or Chromebook operating systems and enables wireless communication between the computer and the Scanmarker product. The dongle is necessary only when the Bluetooth component built into these devices does not support the latest Bluetooth standards. Mac computers have up-to-date built-in Bluetooth components, so a dongle is unnecessary.

When Scanmarker Bluetooth dongle connects to a computer’s USB port, the operating system recognizes it as a new hardware device. It can then be configured to pair the Scanmarker device and transfer data wirelessly.
