Here’s how the translate feature works and how to avoid unnecessary character usage:

• Every time you scan a new line with translation enabled, the system re-translates the entire body of text scanned so far—not just the new line.
  
• Example :So if you’ve already translated five lines and then scan line six, the algorithm will translate lines 1–6 again. Leaving the translate function open while scanning multiple lines can quickly consume extra characters.
  
• Keep translation turned off while you’re scanning. Once you’ve finished scanning an entire paragraph (or block of text), open the translate function to process it all at once—this uses far fewer characters overall.
